Refurbishing a hotel is not an easy task by any means, couple this with installing a top of the range new electric heating system into your bespoke hotel rooms and the importance of planning and implementation becomes key. Our latest article takes you on the journey of one of York's top hotels and how, with our help, they produced only the best settings for their guests.

Nestled right in the hustle and bustle of the beautiful city of York lies a stunning 1750’s Georgian townhouse hotel. With 22 bedrooms there is no shortage of space and each room is individually designed with the most up-to-date facilities, polished off with an endearing décor of Scandinavian chic meets the historical Viking past of York. There is an abundance of character that remains in this uber modern hotel – a rarity because often character is so easily lost in a compromise of contemporary finishes.

The hotel owner began by visiting our new electric radiator showroom, located in Dalton, which allowed him to see our full range in person. We discussed his plans for fully renovating the hotel and how it was currently being heated with old inefficient electric radiators. He was eager to replace these and was looking for something which was modern and which would complement the luxury design of the rooms whilst still being energy efficient.

After discussing our full range radiators and their different features, the owner decided on the Prisma+ electric radiator. The Prisma+ is our mid-range electric radiator which has a cast aluminium body for gentle radiated heat, a highly accurate integral room thermostat and 24/7 programming. It also encompasses some of the latest energy saving features including:
