Electric Radiator Solutions sell the latest dry thermal electric radiators. We are dedicated to bringing you the latest technology in energy efficient electric heating. We only sell top quality aluminium electric radiators and no other inferior electric heating products such as convectors, panel heaters or storage heaters.

What’s inside?

What’s inside your radiators? Is a commonly asked question. We use twin elements that heat the aluminium body directly. There are no fluids. We sell aluminium electric radiators. They are very much radiators, meaning they give off a high percentage of radiated heat. Radiated heat is the same heat you get from the sun, or from a central heating system. Radiated heat is desirable and comfortable unlike dry convected heat.

To achieve a high proportion of radiated heat you need to give an even surface temperature to the radiator body. There are 3 main technologies around for doing this:

Dry technology

Fluid or Oil filled (sometimes called gel filled but it is oil)

Ceramic core (sometimes called fireclay/soapstone)

Each of the above technologies all try to achieve the same thing. An even surface temperature to the body of the radiator, thus giving radiated heat.

Dry technology is the most modern heating technology of the three. With dry technology there is no risk of leaking fluid. Also, without fluids you can produce much slimmer radiators, such as the Curvo+. This is our bestselling radiator. There are several advantages with dry technology over ceramic core radiators.

Cast Aluminium Body

Most modern electric radiators have an aluminium body. Aluminium the best material for radiators because of its excellent thermal conductivity. Cast aluminium has better properties than extruded aluminium. All our radiators are cast aluminium. Most ceramic core radiators have steel bodies. Aluminium is better than steel. Better conductor of heat or will not corrode like steel.

Slimline

Ceramic core radiators are heavy and bulky. Because of this they are not very slim. Our Prisma ranges are only 70mm thick and the ultra slimline Curvo+ is only 35mm top and bottom.

Control

Some ceramic core radiators come with very basic manual thermostats. Basically a numbered dial for you to turn up or down. Our radiators all come with integral 24/7 programmers. Due to their nature, ceramic take longer to heat up and slower reaction times. Our new smart technology Prisma+ iVista range allows control from anywhere with smartphone or tablet.

Installation

Some ceramic radiators require a professional installation. They are heavy and don’t go very well on modern plasterboard walls. Some of the controls can be complicated and confusing. Some suppliers insist on fitting themselves. This along with a high purchase price can be very expensive. Some insist on a site survey, all costing you more £££s.

All our radiators can be fitted with basic DIY knowledge.

As the UK moves away from traditional fossil fuels to more secure low carbon heating, electric is increasingly becoming an environmentally friendly option. Electricity can be produced from renewable sources such as solar or wind, making energy efficient electric radiators an eco-friendly heating solution.
